Biography  (Family and Ministry Information)

Brother Joe Adams was born February 10, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky and born again June 1956 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is dedicated to serving the Lord Jesus Christ as a missionary to Kentucky State Government and those serving in our nation's Capitol.

Brother Joe's mother and father were divorced when he was only eight years old. His father was plagued with the sin of gambling and chose gambling instead of his family. Brother Joe's Christian mother saw that he was kept in church and near men of God. She later remarried and Brother Joe was raised by a very loving Christian stepfather.

Brother Joe surrendered to preach at the age of fourteen and began to preach in the early 1960s in Youth for Christ meetings and youth revivals. He married his wife, Saundra, in October 1965. God has blessed them with three children, Alesha, who is married to Brother John Seay, who is pastor of Fredrick Baptist Church in Fredrick, Maryland. They have three daughters - Sarah, Cynthia and Karrisa and one son John Mark. Our son Paul is married to the former Amye Moore. Paul and Amye are both soul-winners and serve the lord faithfully together. They sing with Amye's family and Amye plays the piano. Paul teaches and preaches in special ministries when needed. They live in Bardstown, Kentucky and have three children two sons Joseph Blake and Zachary Jordan, a daughter Emily Dawn. Our daughter Andrea is married to Mark Forester, a Baptist Preacher and Gospel singer. They are in a full-time faith ministry of Evangelism and Gospel Music. They have several Southern Gospel CD's. They live in Burton, Michigan and have two sons Tyler Andrew and Trevor Anthony.

In 1966, he entered the U.S. Air Force for a four-year tour and spent his last year in Viet Nam. Upon returning from Viet Nam, he entered Western Kentucky University where he majored in Accounting. While studying there, he was youth director in his local church, preached youth revivals and realized that God was calling him to a full-time ministry of Christian service.

While finishing his Business Management and Accounting Degree at Western, he was pastor in Simpson County, Kentucky and served there over seven years. God called him to a new pastorate in Larue County, Kentucky, and led him to also start a Christian school ministry. At a time when Christian schools were having many battles with government, he became very involved with the local and national battles. God used this to prick his heart about reaching our government for Christ. He realized that God had ordained the family, church, and government and that we had abandoned our ministry to government.

Brother Joe and Saundra travel throughout Kentucky holding "God and Country" weekend revivals and Family and Home Seminars. He believes that families must get right with God if our churches and government are going to be what they should be for Christ.
